Directions for Use:

For Menstruating Women:
Massage a small amount of cream into the thinner areas of skin eg inner arms, chest, neck, breasts or abdomen. This is where it will be absorbed more efficiently. You can use a different location to apply the cream each day.
Dosage: Note: Day 1 of a woman's cycle is the first day of her true period (not spotting). For menstrual imbalances, use 1/2 teaspoon of the cream from Day 14 to Day 28 of the cycle (morning and night) and then stop on Day 28. Start back up again on Day 14.
For Perimenopausal/Menopausal Women:
Massage into the skin 1 teaspoon once per day, every day unless there are severe symptoms then use twice daily.

Things to Note:

All LindPark Creations Naturals products are proudly hand made in small batches. If the creams are stored at temperatures above 25℃, some separation of the oils may occur. This is completely normal, and does not affect the quality of the product. If you find that the oils are separated at the top, simply stir the cream and continue use as normal. We recommend storing your natural herbal skincare in a cool, dark room or cupboard under 25℃.

Traditional Use

For centuries herbalists have been using wild yam to treat menstrual cramps and problems related to childbirth, as well as for upset stomach and coughs. In the 1940s the roots of wild yam were discovered to be an important source of diosgenin, a plant steroidal saponin that scientists can manipulate to produce steroids such as progesterone, oestrogen, cortisone and
dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which are then used for medical purposes. Diosgenin was used as star ting material for the synthesis of a highly potent and orally active progestational agent which was the key ingredient in the first birth control pills in the 1960s.
